How are you?! I hope you are all good, and I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! Gosh, it went by so quickly, didn’t it? Now it is only a matter of hours before the New Year – how exciting is that? 🎉
It’s that time of year where we all reflect on the past year, and look towards making our next year even better than before. We tend to set ourselves new goals/ targets/ resolutions for moving on and improving ourselves next year. But this isn’t going to be a post dedicated to my New Years Resolutions, I decided to think about how we celebrate or welcome the New Year in. In lots of countries, it’s very common to have a big firework display when the clock strikes 00:00 🕛, and that’s what happens here in the UK. I love watching the firework displays from the TV in our house (or wherever we are for New Year), and so I wrote a short poem describing what goes through my head when the clock strikes at midnight! ✨
Well, I hope you enjoyed reading that little poem, it certainly was lovely to write! 💙
If you are watching a firework display tonight, then I hope you have a lovely time, and a Happy New Year to all my readers; I hope you have an amazing year hopefully filled with lots of blogging!
Did you like the poem? Are you watching a firework display to welcome in the New Year? What’s a New Year’s Resolution of yours? Can you believe it’s nearly 2019?
See you all again soon,
(PS: I got to 100 followers – THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! 😘 I couldn’t have done it without you, and I am so grateful to have got to this point! Thank you & I wish you all the best reaching your next blogging goal! ✨ (I don’t think I’m going to do anything special, but if you would like me to, then comment below with a suggestion!))
