Dear Readers,

Wow. Long time no see I guess! It’s been two weeks I think since I last posted on here; my own lil’ corner of the internet, and wow – a lot has happened! 😂 I’ve missed you all, sorry I had to accidentally take a break from blogging (school just got the better of me!), and I can’t wait to be re-immersed to the blogosphere! 🌍

So, the big questions are: where have I been, & what’s going to be in store for Autumn’s Angle in the coming weeks?

I’ve been to many places yet haven’t really left my house if you know what I mean; I’ve had many exams & been very busy at school mostly. I was also ill for a bit (don’t you just hate winter colds?) and managed to infect a few friends & family too… *oops* All in all, I haven’t had the time for blogging, which is a shame as January was a really good start to the year, however, for me, schoolwork has to take priority, and I have always promised myself this ever since I started to blog last year. ❤️ Blogging is just something I love to do & will continue to do for a long time! Anyway, I seriously hope you are all doing well & that you haven’t missed me too much.

The good news is…

I’m back!

  (Or for now, at least….)

So, what is going to be in store for you for the rest of the month? Well, as I mentioned at the start of year, I’m travelling all the way to the UAE for my half term! I’m so excited, especially as it’s getting closer & closer now, although I am so scared at the same time! 😬 How does this affect Autumn’s Angle though? Well, I’m hoping to post a mini travel series on my experience out there, which will be posted every few days from next week! 💙 I’m seriously really excited to be sharing my experience with you all, and sharing a bit about what the UAE has to offer for those of you who haven’t been before (like me!)! This is my first time on a long haul flight and first time out of Europe though, so it is a little bit daunting and a big thing for me. Hopefully, it’ll all be great!

(After all this talk, I cannot wait!)

After being absent from the blogosphere for a while now, I am mainly looking forward to catching up on posting, as well as catching up on all of your posts! 😊 In the comments below, you can link your favourite post from the last few weeks if you want, so I can catch up on a bit of reading from you all!

What have I missed? Excited for some travel posts? Been to the UAE before & got any advice for me? Favourite place to visit in Dubai/ Abu Dhabi?

Sorry for just a short lil’ update post for today,

Looking forward to hearing from you all soon, and look out for posts on my UAE adventure!

Hi! I'm Autumn, an avid reader, animal lover and keen photographer that wants to travel the world! I’m probably not your average teen, I’m not a firm believer in makeup and I don’t own any social media accounts. I love stationary and all things paperchase, as well as baking yummy little treats! I've wanted to have my own blog for years, so Autumn’s Angle is a dream come true! I hope you follow Autumn’s Angle and enjoy scrolling through my blog. 😊 Lots of love, Autumn x

  1. Ahhhh welcome back, Autumn! I’ve dearly missed you! 💕 I can’t wait to read that mini travel series 😊 that’s going to be great! I hosted a Valentine’s Day blog party on Thursday, which was a lot of fun! Comments are still open if you’d like to go join 💖 I’m so happy you’re back!

  2. So glad you’re back! I have been missing your creative posts, I am glad you took some time to do your schoolwork though, I know exactly how it feels when you have blog posts and school stuff to do! xx

  3. OMG GURLLLLL I was born and raised in UAE representttt. I went to visit a couple years ago for a whole year so the memories are still fresh but ugh the nostalgia I love that place. Here’s a few things you should know:
    – That place is an OVEN! But you’ll also see women around with full on abayas (long dresses) and wonder how in the world they do it but they do. UAE is a bit less strict on dress code but just don’t dress too immodestly in mosques and places of worship.
    – There are mosques everywhere gurl. Wait, are you muslim? I have no idea but if you aren’t, you’ll probably hear the athan 5 times a day from where you live so don’t get freaked out haha.
    – There’s these corner shops called baqalas and they are AMAZING! Get everything you can from there. Buenos, Takis, SUPER spicy cheetos, spicy lays, omg strawberry milk!! Ugh memories bro – that place was baeee.
    – There’s an arcade in every mall. Weird, I know. But GO. There are roller coasters in some like Sahara Mall in sharjah and I think they have small ones other places.
    – Everything will look expensive but it’s really not. Like subway sandwiches are around 18 AED but compared to canadian, that’s only 6 bucks which is cheaper than the subway here.
    – If you don’t speak arabic and the people in your grade are jerks, the boys will probably be rude. Guys there are a little jerkier (that’s a word) but they respect women.
    – Try the food there. Especially open buffets. Sooo good.
    – People there are so community minded like literally all the neighbors would know each other and families are so connected. In canada at least I feel like there’s a bit of division that no one really talks about and everyone likes to hang out in little groups but there, people are so welcoming and I made best friends on the first day.

Okay I don’t want to overload you and I have no idea where you’re from. Like what if you’re actually middle eastern and know all this? Are you studying for high school or uni? I just realized I don’t know that much about you haha. Feel free to ask me any questionsss and all the best gurl!!

  4. Awww, Autumn, I’ve missed your awesome posts gurl! I was hoping you’d pay a lil’ visit back to the blogosphere pretty soon! 😊✨ Don’t worry, we all get those hectic moments, I’m behind on literally everything, and let’s just say, I’m getting a lil’ freaked out! 😂 To be honest, I’m not going to link any of my posts here because I know you probs have too much to read already 😂 Anyways, just to say well, I’m glad you’re back, and I’ll be looking pressed to those travel posts! Like virtual travelling (is it weird I just said that…?!😂)
Great to have you back Autumn, the blogosphere has missed you! 💛
    Amber x
